Suppliers Score on PINPOOLS
In order to help procurement with decisions PINPOOLS developed its own score for supplier. Details of scores are always visible within a company profile and the “Overall Score” is also displayed when selecting and inviting supplier.
The Overall Score is a combination of “Identity Score” and “Activity Score”.
The identity score should help you to understand how trustworthy a supplier is by measuring following points:
a. Company profile completion: Did the supplier fill in relevant company information
b. Verified E-Mail: Is the supplier using a company wide domain. E.g. @suppliername.com vs. @hotmail.com. Contact PINPOOLS if you want to verify your mail.
c. Invited from trusted account: Did a verified procurement organisation invite that supplier or did the supplier register himself.
The Activity Score helps you to understand how active the supplier is, helps the supplier to improve his performance and checks following points:
a. Offers submitted within the last 30 days: Users of this supplier submitted quotes within the last 30 days
b. Quoting Ratio: Invitation to quote for x products vs. submitted quotes. Please note: If you as a supplier receive too many requests you can influence that by managing your Product Portfolio. The better your portfolio is managed the better and precise are the requests you may receive. Within our article database we added article how to do that.
c. Awarding made: Was this supplier awarded in past by procurement
