How to work with QA functionality?
Q&A functionality
The Q&A functionality is a useful tool for communicating with buyers and suppliers on the platform. It allows you to ask questions and provide answers about specific products, all within a convenient modal box. In this article, we will explain how to use the Q&A icon and provide some tips for effective communication.
Opening the Modal Box
To access the Q&A feature, simply click on the Q&A icon located near each product name on the Items page. This will open a modal box where you can input your question or note.
It's important to note that the Q&A feature is available for both buyers and suppliers. This means that both parties can ask and answer questions about the product.
Visibility of Information
It's important to keep in mind that all information entered into the Q&A modal box is visible to all participants of the request. This includes the buyer, all listed suppliers, and yourself. This ensures transparency and allows for open communication between all parties involved.
Supplier won't see any other supplier company name. All names will be hidden for supplier except the name of the owner of the request and buyer's colleagues. There will be displayed a content of entered questions/answers. Buyers have ability to edit the content of answers in case they do not want to show any information
If you have a private question or concern, we recommend using the Message button on the General subpage. This will allow you to communicate directly with the buyer or supplier without sharing the information with others.
Notifications
Once a question or note has been entered into the Q&A modal box, the other party will receive a notification. This ensures that all parties are aware of the new information and can respond accordingly.
It's important to check your notifications regularly to stay updated on any new questions or notes.
