In procurement, controlling access to specific product lines and their information is crucial. With the visibility management functionality, you can limit which products suppliers can see. This can be adjusted at any time to fit your needs, whether you are handling a few products or managing a large inventory.
Here’s how you can manage visibility for specific items:
Manual Visibility Setting

Navigate to the Items Tab: Open the 'Items' tab in your request.

Manage Supplier Visibility for Specific Items:

Locate the item for which you want to adjust supplier visibility.

In the 'Suppliers' column near the item name, click on "Manage supplier for that item".

A list of invited suppliers will appear, where you can manually deselect or select suppliers for that specific product.

Suppliers will not be aware of any changes made to their visibility settings for specific items.

Bulk Visibility Upload Using Excel
If you need to manage visibility for many products with multiple suppliers, you can use the bulk upload feature:

Download the Excel Draft:

Go to the 'Suppliers' tab of your request.

Download the Line Item Visibility Excel draft.

Edit the Excel File:
-
Open the Excel file and update it by marking suppliers as invited or uninvited for each product line.

Save your changes.

Upload the Edited File:
-
Upload the updated Excel file back to the system via the 'Suppliers' tab.

Checking Current Visibility Settings
You can always check the current status of visibility settings:

Download the Line Item Visibility Excel draft from the 'Suppliers' tab to review the current settings.

If needed, make changes and upload it back to the system.
