During creating RFQ you have the ability to set up feedback for supplier’s offer and mark it with appropriate color. Supplier’s price will be marked with a colour due to your setting.
This setting can be activated on ‘General Information’ step in creation/editing mode. Just click checkbox near ‘Traffic light feedback’ in ‘Feedback settings’ part. It will open an additional field for filling in.
There you have ability to select 2 options:
- to compare prices accordingly to your entered current price, this setting depends on your savings;
- to compare prices accordingly to given best price from suppliers side. If select this functionality, then:
- the prices can be compared only if there are added 2 or more offers from suppliers;
- if there is only one offer added, then best price will be compared with current price;
- if there is no offer added, then current price will be automatically selected as best price.
Additionally, you can activate "Freeze Feedback", then the colour code feedback will not change from the moment you switch on this option. It only makes sense to activate this when you have already offers received from suppliers.
After selecting needed functionality, you need to set up intervals in percentages using the slider and choose color you want to be displayed for supplier. So play around and put needed percentage of saving/price difference.
For example, you may take two colours: green one for setting up intervals for products with positive savings and red one for setting up intervals for products with negative savings. Pay attention that if you want to show suppliers that price is worse then best/current price, then you need to negative percentage
If to set up all intervals with positive numbers, the logic will be that the prices are better than best/current price.
There are 5 different colours, just choose the one you want from drop-down list. One color can be used several times. For adding one more color click ‘Add new color’ button, for deleting existing one click ‘bin’ icon.
As well, you may leave message to suppliers for each color (‘You are performing well’, ‘Please, improve your offer’ etc.). The text will be displayed for supplier with mentioned color.
