Analysis of RFX: Working with Published Requests. General Tab
Once a request is published or saved as a draft, it includes several tabs to manage and track its progress. Here’s an overview of the General tab:
The General tab provides essential tools for managing your request. It allows you to:
- Monitor Remaining Time: A timer shows how much time is left for the request.
- Edit or Cancel the RFQ. Modify the request or delete it using the appropriate buttons.
- Create a Draft: Save a draft version of the request for future adjustments. Create a Draft. Save a draft version of the request for future adjustments.
- Close Request: “Mark RFQ as closed”, notifying suppliers that no further awards are expected.
- Rename the RFQ or Edit Description: Change the request's name and description by clicking the edit icon.
- Grant Access: Modify access levels for colleagues, allowing for full control, editing, or view-only access as well as invite a new user.
- Change Dates and Currencies: Adjust the start and end dates, as well as select the currencies suppliers can use by clicking the edit icon.
You can change the anchor currence which is EUR by default. In this case it will be the main currency and all quotes given in other currencies will be calculated into the main one.
Make sure to save the changes after choosing additional currencies.
In case of a change in the RFQ end date, you will have the opportunity to send a notification to the suppliers informing them about this.
- Manage Labels: Add or edit labels to categorize requests, making it easier to track them.

Terms to be confirmed
After publishing the RFQ, you can modify the terms that suppliers must confirm or sign before gaining access to the request. This ensures any changes to the conditions or requirements are acknowledged and agreed upon by the supplier before they proceed.
First option: Upload/select documents for online acceptance
You can upload or select additional documents for online acceptance at any time after the RFQ is published. This allows you to provide updated specifications or clarifications that suppliers need to review and accept online.
Second option: Upload/select documents for digital signature
Any documents requiring a digital signature can be added after publishing the RFQ. Suppliers can review and sign these documents electronically, ensuring all agreements are formalized without delays.
Third option: Add additional files to your request
You can add new files to your RFQ request at any point. Whether it’s additional attachments, clarifications, or revised documents, suppliers will see the newly uploaded files, ensuring they have access to the latest information.
Make sure to save the changes after uploading documents.
- Advanced settings. You can adjust the advanced settings at any time after publishing the RFQ. By hovering over the black circle with the letter "i," you can view a brief description of each
- Activate autioning. You can even enable auctioning after publishing an RFQ.
- Traffic light feedback and RFP/Scoring settings: These can be adjusted at any time after publishing the RFQ. The Traffic Light feature is used to display feedback on the supplier's offered price, while the Scoring option allows authorized company users to assign scores to the received quotations.
