Analyse Your Published Spot Request
Find out how to work with given quotes
You can find all your published requests on the “My Requests” page. Unlike RFQs and Series requests, Spot requests are unmarked. Click on the name of the request you need to view more details about. By default, there are the following subpages: “General”, “Items”, and “Documentation”.
Once you receive any offers, the “Offers” page will be displayed.
General Page
On this page, you can check general information about the request and perform the following actions:
- Monitor the remaining time for the request
- Edit the request by clicking the “Edit” icon in the upper left corner of the request
- Cancel the request by clicking the “Cancel” icon in the upper left corner of the request
- Create a draft of the RFQ. Once you click this button, it will be saved in the list of all your drafts
- Delete the request by clicking the “Delete” icon in the upper left corner of the request
- Change the name of the RFQ by clicking the edit icon next to the RFQ name
- Edit/Add a description by clicking the edit icon next to the description under the RFQ name
- Send a message to suppliers. Click the “Suppliers” button, and a modal box with a list of suppliers and the “Actions” button will appear. After clicking this button a several options will appear. You will need to choose the “Message All” option and select the required suppliers (or users) using checkboxes, enter your message, attach any files (if required), and click “Send”. A personal chat will be created for each supplier with the sent message, and all chats can be accessed from the “My Messages” page in the menu bar.
- Invite additional suppliers to a request. To do so, click the “Invite further supplier” button. This will open a modal box where you can enter the required information and then click the “Invite” button.
- Track the number of visits to your request from the suppliers' side
Items Page
On this page, you can view the list of published products, along with all the information you added during the RFQ creation process.
With the help of the “Give Feedback” button, you can communicate with suppliers and ask them questions. After they provide answers, those will appear in the Feedback column.
Click the “Show list of companies” button to view the list of invited suppliers. Suppliers (and users) can be added or delisted using the checkbox. To find a specific supplier, use the search bar.
You can also find a “Description” column, which can be edited. Click the “Edit” icon to open a modal box where you can add/specify any information and customize it with different styles. Be sure to save the indicated information once you've finished entering it.
Documentation Page
On this page, you can add notes to the request that will be visible only to you and users from your company. Simply enter your note and save it. The note will be immediately displayed on the platform.
Offers Page
Once suppliers submit their offers, a new page will appear in your request with all the information provided by the suppliers. The best offer will be highlighted in green. Additionally, you can send a message to the owner of the offer, review all the details (you can hide this section if necessary), and use the “Request Sample” function. Clicking “Request Sample” will open a modal box where you can add a comment and send the sample request.
Pay attention for types of roles on Company Level you have to select for this user:
- Admin - has full control on the platform and can manage users
- User - can create requests and has access only to his requests (and those, where is set up access for him)
- Visitor - can review requests for which he has access and this user has access only for ‘My Requests’ and ‘My Messages’ pages. The requests where this user was granted access for will than appear below "My Requests". This feature is often used to grant access to external companies.
